So again, still reminiscing about our wedding three years ago. Today was the rehearsal day! Since we were getting married on a Friday, and I wanted our rehearsal to be 2 days before the wedding, we had it on a Wednesday evening. At this point we really hadn't finalized anything with the Pastor, so I was a little worried about that. We met with him before the actual rehearsal started and were able to smooth out all the final details. Everyone showed up on time and the rehearsal started. I bought these cute little flowers for the girls to carry down the aisle,
and of course I had my bow bouquet,
We decided to just have the rehearsal dinner at my parents house. Jim's parents took care of the food while my parents provided the "bar"...champagne anyone??
Everything was really low key which is exactly what we wanted.
Since we had just finalized all the details I still had to make the programs. I can't remember if I finished them that night or the night before the wedding. Either way, it was some last minute stress that I had to deal with. I went pretty simple and really liked the way they turned out.
There was a lot of DIY for our wedding.
Here's some pics:
The invitations - bought the pocket folds premade and then added personal touches
The centerpieces - half Eiffel tower vases and half metal pumpkins
The table runners - my mom made them from black fabric
My veil - made by my mom
The favors - little tins filled with candy corn
The card box
The unity candle
The signature mat / "guest book"
The pew "bows"
The place cards
